Shipping policy

We ship all orders from the UK using Royal Mail.
Below is everything you need to know about our shipping process.


1. Processing Times

  • Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days.

  • During busy periods (Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day), dispatch may take up to 3–5 working days.

We will notify you if there are any unusual delays.


2. Delivery Methods (UK)

We ship using Royal Mail. Options typically include:

Tracked 48 (if enabled)

  • Full tracking

  • Faster and more secure

  • Recommended for gifts or urgent orders

Shipping rates are shown at checkout.


3. Delivery Times

Delivery estimates are provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to:

  • Weather

  • Seasonal peaks

  • Postal strikes

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses


4. Missing or Delayed Deliveries

If your parcel appears delayed:

  • Royal Mail considers a parcel lost after 10 working days (UK)

  • After this period, we can arrange a replacement or refund

  • Your name

  • Any tracking information you received


5. Incorrect Addresses

Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.

If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete address:

  • We can re-send it (additional postage may apply)

  • Perishable goods may not be refundable if spoiled in transit


6. Warm Weather Advisory

Some sweets (e.g., chocolate) may melt in hot weather.
We cannot take responsibility for heat-related melting once the parcel has been delivered.


7. Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged:

Please email cate@catescandy.co.uk within 48 hours, including:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the damage

  • Photos of packaging

A replacement or refund will be arranged.
